Beth has served as a judge at the 2001 Miss Colombia pageant in Cartagena, Colombia where she was presented with the Key to the City, 2004 Miss Ecuador pageant in Guayaquil, Ecuador, 2004 Miss Universe pageant in Quito, Ecuador, 2008 Dubai Style Awards in Dubai, UAE, 2010 Banja Luka Fashion Fair in Bosnia & Herzegovina, 2011 Mission Catwalk in Jamaica, Super Model of the Bahamas in 2009 and 2015 and Mr. Male Model Universe in the Dominican Republic in 2008 and 2015.
Over the years, Beth has been honored for her work and received government Proclamations in 2000 from the State of Florida by then Secretary of State Katherine Harris, 2010 Proclamation from the City of Miami by Mayor Thomás Regalado, 2011 Proclamation from the City of Miami Beach by then Mayor Mattie Bower and the City Commission and has also received five Keys to the City of Miami Beach from past Mayor’s David Dermer and Neisen Kadsen.

Beth now devotes her talents to further developing the Council of International Fashion Designers and the CIFD Foundation non-profit organizations to continue educating and supporting the world’s best students and emerging designers in the creative arts, producing fashion events for charities and corporate clients and is an international speaker / spokesperson. Since 2010, Beth has served on the Board of Directors of the World Trade Center Miami.
The Council of International Fashion Designers Foundation, Inc. works to further charitable, philanthropic and educational initiatives on issues that are of specific concern to the international fashion design and creative arts community and to promote, develop and teach activities that benefit the creative and commercial aspects of the fashion sector in general through quality programming and training.
About the CIFDF:
The Council of International Fashion Designers Foundation, Inc. (CIFDF – renamed in 2015 from the Miami Fashion Week Foundation) is an independent, not-for-profit organization founded in 2008.
The CIFDF works to educate and mentor students and emerging designers studying and working within the creative arts through personal development and educational opportunities and activities presented by a variety industry professionals as well as an annual on-line design competition.
The CIFDF annually hosts a variety of events to raise scholarship funds that will benefit the emerging designers and students studying fashion design, fashion photography, jewelry making, handbag design and graphic arts who are the winners of the competitions.
The competition winners receive prizes including mentoring and internships, as well as a cash scholarship from the CIFDF and recognition on the organizations official web site as part of their award.

The Council of International Fashion Designers, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization established to educate and empower international emerging and established fashion and accessory designers on the industry’s business practices in the American market. About the CIFD
The Council of International Fashion Designers, Inc. membership base consists of emerging and established international fashion and accessories designers, fashion press, stylists, make-up artists, hair stylists, graphic artists, fashion photographers, fashion merchandisers, visual merchandisers, fashion retailers, international trade offices and related industry professionals who have been working in their fields for a minimum of 2 years.
Founded in 1999, the CIFD was created to promote the Latin American designers as international style creators, rather than folkloric and continues to advance the status of all international designers entering in the American market through cultural exchange, raising artistic and professional standards, promoting ethical practices within the industry and promoting fashion design as an international and creative form of art.
The Council of International Fashion Designers, Inc. members consist of emerging and established fashion industry professionals with a minimum of 2 years working within the field. Membership in the CIFD is open to new applicants that are reviewed under the terms of membership qualifications as noted above. All applicants are reviewed by the Board of Advisors for acceptance into the organization.
